- Kentucky-West Virginia Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation is a federally funded program through the National Science Foundation. Its goal is to provide underrepresented students assistance in completing a STEM degree and moving further into the rigorous and exciting world of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. To access the services provided by LSAMP, contact Fara Williams, the Director of the Program (fara.williams@uky.edu) and/or Jeff Osborn, the UK Campus Coordinator (jlosbo3@uky.edu).
- The Office for Nationally Competitive Awards assists UK students who may wish to apply for major academic awards – including the Rhodes, Marshall and Fulbright Scholarships as well as other awards requiring an institutional nomination for a student to be considered an applicant – during their undergraduate careers at UK and post-graduate years. In addition, this office also offers help with (and information about) direct application awards, internships and summer opportunities. For more information, please contact:
