If you are interested in obtaining a degree – and perhaps pursing an academic career – in engineering, the Center for Applied Energy Research and the College of Engineering of the University of Kentucky have a mentoring program designed to help incoming African American, Hispanic or Native American engineering students make an auspicious entry into the field.
