- Libraries - UK Libraries has a huge number of resources and it can be hard to know how to get started. Be sure to look at UK Libraries’ Research Guides – particularly those dedicated to engineering ) – which can point you to the best resources for your research area or course assignment.
Susan Smith is the engineering expert and head librarian of engineering libraries. You can contact Susan at 859-257-7176 or at susan.smith@uky.edu. Alternatively, you can contact Jeffrey Dalrymple at 859-257-4363 or at j.dalrymple@uky.edu.
- Computer labs - Student Computing Services maintains 10 computer labs that are spread out across the UK campus, including some engineering computers labs such as those for Civil and Mechanical Engineering and the Cisco lab in the basement of the W.T. Young library, which have 18 computers with access to all of the programs available in the Engineering labs.
- However, there are numerous other computer labs maintained by individual colleges – including the College of Engineering – spread across campus, such as the Biosystems & Agricultural Engineering Computer Lab and the
Engineering Workstation in Room 211 of the Ralph G. Anderson Building.
- In addition, the Engineering Launchpad is a starting point for College of Engineering Students exploring the College's computer systems, as it includes useful information about the College's computing resources, how you can access them, and what they can do for you.
- For assistance, you can contact Lynn Tilley of the Engineering Computing Center at 859-257-3452 or at lynn.tilley@uky.edu.
